Kristan is a special education teacher for 4th and 5th graders in an Atlanta-area public school. Kristan sent us this video about how Orton-Gillingham has made such a difference for her students.
After taking the REAP Orton-Gillingham training course, Kristan’s new skills have made a big impact on her special education students. “In four short months my students have gone up at least 4 to 6 reading levels. This is equivalent to one grade level in reading. I am so proud of their progress!” Not only have they become stronger readers, but Kristan notes, “…their self confidence has grown.”
She ends her testimonial with a plea: “Please, please, I beg you to donate to REAP so that we can help all students read!”
